Huanuco, Peru"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It is a project of training, implementation of good agroforestry practices and improvement of the marketing of products of the indigenous communities of the villages of Bel\u00e9n, Nuevo Milenio and Apiza, in Huanuco, Peru, in order to increase agricultural productivity in order to reduce malnutrition among the population.<\/p>\n<p>          <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>It is a project of training, implementation of good agroforestry practices and improvement of the marketing of products of the indigenous communities of the villages of Bel\u00e9n, Nuevo Milenio and Apiza, in Huanuco, Peru, in order to increase agricultural productivity in order to reduce malnutrition among the population.<\/p>\n<p>The project was implemented in September 2007, with the aim of reducing the mortality of the local population of the Peruvian hamlets of Bel\u00e9n, Nuevo Milenio and Apiza, through the fight against malnutrition among children, pregnant mothers and the elderly.<\/p>\n<p>The fight against malnutrition in these groups is achieved through the implementation of good agricultural practices. To this end, 22 people were trained in the improvement of agricultural production techniques and four plots were selected for the implementation of these practices. In addition, the Alfonso Ugarte Association of Agroforestry Producers (AFAU) was formed to increase and improve the organization of peasants.  <\/p>\n<p>After the success in achieving the expected results in 2007, the entity has decided to continue with the project, maintaining the objectives initially set and adding new ones, such as the implementation of good sustainable agroforestry practices and the improvement of the marketing of products.<\/p>\n<p>The planned actions are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Training workshops for 30 farmers for two months, through the AFAU.<\/li>\n<li>Creation of the Cultivation Assistance Unit.<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out visits to agricultural holdings.<\/li>\n<li>Holding of dynamization and technical assistance days for technical-administrative management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":11,"featured_media":22405,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"financiaci_n":[650],"lineas_actuacion_tematicas":[],"class_list":["post-97860641","proyectos_ficha","type-proyectos_ficha","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","financiaci_n-fundacion-biodiversidad-en"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Agroforestry training.
