The area faces environmental problems that endanger the proper conservation of its resources and in addition, indigenous cultures of two different ethnic groups, one Paraguayan and the other Brazilian, converge, a fact that complicates the consolidation of a fabric that assumes the concept of &#8220;Biosphere Reserve&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p>In this context, the project focuses on the training of leaders and training of personnel dedicated to resource management, as well as to disseminate what the declaration of Biosphere Reserve implies, in order to involve the population in its management. This is intended to enhance the identity as a privileged group for being part of the reserve, ensuring that this identification has an impact on the reduction of environmental problems. <\/p>\n<p>Likewise, the exchange of experiences and information with the Monfrag\u00fce Biosphere Reserve will be promoted, enriching both parties and strengthening the links between their cultural and biological diversities.
