In parallel with this interest, information about the territory and the criteria and methods for its valuation have also increased considerably. <\/p>\n<p>During the first phase of the project, work will be done on the definition of criteria, indicators and decision-making rules that help to assess the state of conservation of a forest and, at the same time, a compilation of existing databases will be made that will be harmonized in an environmental information system.<\/p>\n<p>This tool will be applied as a validation exercise to a specific case, that of the Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es-Orientales.
