{"id":97860856,"date":"2014-07-14T10:41:23","date_gmt":"2014-07-14T08:41:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/proyectos_ficha\/marnoba-ii\/"},"modified":"2014-07-14T10:41:23","modified_gmt":"2014-07-14T08:41:23","slug":"marnoba-ii","status":"publish","type":"proyectos_ficha","link":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/en\/proyectos_ficha\/marnoba-ii\/","title":{"rendered":"MARNOBA II"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The MARNOBA II project, &#8220;Development of a web platform for access to information on marine litter on the beaches of the Spanish coast&#8221;, is the continuation of the MARNOBA project, developed in 2013 by the Zero Waste Association with the support of the Biodiversity Foundation and KAI Marine Services.<\/p>\n<p>Within the framework of the project, in 2013 a protocol was activated for the characterisation and management of marine litter on beaches by sampling at specific points on the Spanish coast.<\/p>\n<p>In the second phase of the MARNOBA project, the user has been offered the possibility of using this protocol. Thus, in this phase, a geoportal has been created where, after registration, free access to a Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) has been facilitated. This platform has collected the information resulting from the application of the protocol for the management of marine litter on beaches on the Spanish coast, which was launched in the previous phase of the project  <\/p>\n<p>This geoportal has allowed all those bodies and institutions, public or private, responsible for or carrying out beach cleaning activities, as well as the entities in charge of managing the marine environment, to download the protocol launched in the first phase of MARNOBA. In this way, the introduction of the results derived from its use is facilitated, through a mobile application, as well as complementary information, specific legislation, technical documents, etc. <\/p>\n<p>This information has been standardised according to the simplified OSPAR model generated in the first phase of the project, so that valid data are obtained for the implementation of the indicator &#8220;Marine Litter on Beaches&#8221; of the Marine Strategy Framework Directive, the Marine Environment Protection Law, the regional marine conventions ratified by Spain (OSPAR Convention and Barcelona Convention) or any other study that users may demand (Marine Litter on Beaches) waste management in coastal areas, scientific-technical studies, etc.).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":11,"featured_media":22405,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"financiaci_n":[650],"lineas_actuacion_tematicas":[655],"class_list":["post-97860856","proyectos_ficha","type-proyectos_ficha","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","financiaci_n-fundacion-biodiversidad-en","lineas_actuacion_tematicas-marine-ecosystems"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
