This initiative made the Spanish coast known through the broadcast of a weekly program on TVE, from July to September 2014.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The overall objective of this project of the audiovisual production company La Ca\u00f1a Brothers was to publicize the Spanish coastline and activities developed in the marine environment promoted by the Biodiversity Foundation<\/a><\/strong>, through the production of a television program <\/strong>that was broadcast during the months of July, August and September 2014 on TVE.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thus, through this initiative, La Ca\u00f1a Brothers produced and broadcast weekly episodes of 60 minutes over three months<\/strong>. The space disseminated and disseminated information on projects supported and coordinated by the Biodiversity Foundation, such as LIFE+ INDEMARES.<\/a> <\/p>\n

The space broadcast interviews with people who work in the marine field and had an informative value on topics such as the benefits of the use of clean energies<\/strong> or the importance of cleaning and recycling marine litter<\/strong> and litter accumulated on beaches. To reinforce the value that the coastline brings to society as a whole, interviews were broadcast with children in camps and with members of various associations. <\/p>\n

In addition, the program proposed responsible habits to curb climate change<\/strong> and raise awareness of the importance of caring for the environment through gestures such as recycling. All this thanks to content that showed, for example, the presenter of the program collecting the garbage he found on the beaches and the sea, to recycle it in the ports where he arrived. <\/p>\n

Throughout the project, renewable energies were used, sailing without polluting and demonstrating that the coast can be enjoyed with responsible consumption habits, thus contributing to the protection of marine and coastal biodiversity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Finally, 8 weekly 50-minute episodes were <\/strong>broadcast presented by Quico Taronj\u00ed, Captain Q, is a journalist and yacht captain who sailed for 2 months more than 3,500 kilometers in 9 autonomous communities (Catalonia, Balearic Islands, the Valencian Community, Murcia, Andalusia, Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria and the Basque Country) and two autonomous cities (Ceuta and Melilla). bringing together the stories of people who work and live at sea.
In addition, beaches, islands, workplaces (ships, submarines, floating laboratories, etc.) were visited during the trip.
