ACA launches the project “Deautox\u00edcate. Towards more sustainable modes of mobility” with the aim of contributing to the fight against climate change.

\nThe Association of Environmental Sciences (ACA) has launched the project “Deautoxicate. Towards more sustainable modes of mobility” with the aim of contributing to the fight against climate change<\/strong>, air pollution in cities and the improvement of energy efficiency. The initiative aims to inform and raise awareness among citizens about the impact of changing transport habits on the environment and people’s health. <\/p>\n

The initiative seeks to promote a change in transport habits<\/strong>, moving from the exclusive use of private cars to sustainable mobility. According to ACA, it is about demonstrating to citizens that it is possible to opt for other options in many of the usual journeys and that these options are available, are more sustainable and meet their mobility needs. <\/p>\n

To this end,the use of the different alternatives<\/strong> that currently exist will be made known and encouraged, such as car sharing, car rental, bicycles, public transport or walking itineraries<\/strong>, among others, with the intention of replacing the use of private cars. All this through the “Deautox\u00edcate” contest<\/strong>. A contest that aims to promote efficient driving of vehicles, generate informative materials, encourage the participation of different actors and show that a change of attitude related to transport is possible, which will be evident in the participants. A dissemination plan will also be carried out to convey the objectives of the project to as many citizens as possible. <\/p>\n

Among the results expected within the framework of this initiative is the participation of four candidates in the competition, the publication of three videos on the project, the preparation of informative sheets, press releases and an article. In addition, two training days will be held and a specific website will be created for the project, in which it is expected to reach 5,000 views. <\/p>\n

Other expected results are to reach 300 downloads or sending of informative sheets and 300 views on the videos made for the project. Thus, it is expected to reach at least 1,500 recipients. <\/p>\n
