{"id":97861002,"date":"2015-07-20T10:50:24","date_gmt":"2015-07-20T08:50:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/proyectos_ficha\/coretra-remote-control-of-traffic-emissions\/"},"modified":"2015-07-20T10:50:24","modified_gmt":"2015-07-20T08:50:24","slug":"coretra-remote-control-of-traffic-emissions","status":"publish","type":"proyectos_ficha","link":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/en\/proyectos_ficha\/coretra-remote-control-of-traffic-emissions\/","title":{"rendered":"CORETRA, Remote Control of Traffic Emissions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The project &#8220;CORETRA, Remote Control of Traffic Emissions&#8221; seeks to improve air quality through a significant reduction in emissions from road traffic.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nThe project &#8220;CORETRA, Remote Control of Traffic Emissions&#8221; aims to improve air quality through a <strong>significant reduction in road traffic emissions<\/strong> based on direct control of them on roads.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative, launched by the Centre for Energy, Environmental and Technological Research (Ciemat), follows the guidelines provided for in the <strong>Air Plan 2013 of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and the Environment<\/strong>, which contemplates the use <strong>of remote measurement techniques<\/strong> for the identification of &#8220;large emitter&#8221; vehicles on the road network, with the intention of eliminating them from the circulating fleet or correcting their emissions.<\/p>\n<p>To this end, it is necessary <strong>to resolve the technical issues for the establishment of emission limits<\/strong> for the different pollutants that allow these large emitters to be identified in the current Spanish circulating fleet. The technical aspects for the verification and metrological characterisation of remote emissions measurement technology must also be resolved. <\/p>\n<p>Among the expected results is the establishment of these limits that allow the detection of<em> <\/em>&#8220;large emitters&#8221; and the verification of measurement techniques.
