Its purpose is <strong>to contribute to the conservation of Atlantic agricultural landscapes with a high associated biodiversity <\/strong>and to protect it. <\/p>\n<p>Within the framework of the project, work has been done on the <strong>maintenance and recovery of traditional structures<\/strong>, such as the<strong><\/strong>plant enclosures with native species, stone walls, wetlands, etc. This is how the restoration of semi-natural meadows has been addressed, acting on a total of 18.76 hectares of abandoned meadows. An informative manual has also been prepared on the management of semi-natural meadows and a conference has been held on this subject. In addition, different techniques for collecting and contributing seed to impoverished meadows have been tested for the recovery of botanical diversity. At the same time, work has been done on the maintenance of plant closures through the pruning of 1,516 meters of plant closures. 728 meters of traditional stone walls have been recovered and consolidated, serving as a refuge for many species, including herpets and invertebrates.     <\/p>\n<p>Two new wetlands have been created (four ponds in total, with different characteristics) and work has been done on the restoration of two existing ones.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, 107 refuges were placed for fauna of three types: nest boxes for insectivorous birds, refuge-boxes for bats and two insect hotels.<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":11,"featured_media":22405,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"financiaci_n":[],"lineas_actuacion_tematicas":[654],"class_list":["post-97861070","proyectos_ficha","type-proyectos_ficha","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","lineas_actuacion_tematicas-terrestrial-ecosystems"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
