All this knowledge extracted from the project will allow the articulation of community adaptation and resilience strategies to climate change.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The City Council of Santiago de Compostela was a beneficiary in the 2017 Call for Grants for the implementation of projects in the field of adaptation to climate change with the project &#8220;DECARBONIZA! WHICH IS NO SMALL THING&#8230;&#8221; a project of adaptation to climate change from environmental education in facilities and programs of sociocultural and leisure activities&#8221;. Its purpose has been <strong>to integrate climate change adaptation into the municipal socio-cultural and community leisure sectors.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The socio-cultural activities organised by the municipalities reach a very important part of the population that is traditionally far from climate change adaptation strategies. To alleviate this gap, for more than five months, even groups of adults in Santiago and San Sebasti\u00e1n\/Donostia, participated in the project &#8220;Decarbonize! Que non \u00e9 pouco&#8230; \/ KarbonEZtatu&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Through several work sessions, an educational methodology was put into practice to bring the climate problem closer to adult audiences.
