The current area of occupation can be estimated at about 350<sup>km2<\/sup>. <\/p>\n<p>Within the framework of this project, developed by the Tierra Ib\u00e9rica Foundation, the capercaillie table has been set up, made up of NGOs linked to the conservation of the species and experts attached to universities and research centres who have participated in projects or studies related to the species.
