For this reason, the Amurrio City Council has completed the &#8216;ARRASTARIA RESILIENTE&#8217; project to <strong>increase the adaptive capacity of the crops and pastures of the valley, and to mitigate climate change and improve the adaptive capacity of the area<\/strong>. This initiative has had the support of the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for Ecological Transition within the framework of its 2017 call for grants.  <\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">To this end, different territorial investigations have been developed. The first action consisted of the preparation of a prospective study on the foreseeable effects of climate change on crops, land uses and current management sequences with an assessment of their vulnerabilities and possible impacts on agriculture, livestock, native biodiversity, forests, soil and tourism. Three possible threats that this area may have were determined: frost impact, flood impact, and drought impact.  <\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">On the other hand, the entity carried out tasks of identification and location of wild plant species (mushrooms, mushrooms, berries, flowers, fruits, aromatic plants, medicinal plants, seeds, roots, etc.) that could be interesting for human consumption and are the basis for developing new products, and thus, diversify and strengthen the income of the farms.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">With this analysis, the result has been <strong>a guide for the implementation of concrete measures in the short term to improve the prosperity of the valley in the face of climate change<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":11,"featured_media":22405,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"financiaci_n":[],"lineas_actuacion_tematicas":[670],"class_list":["post-97861264","proyectos_ficha","type-proyectos_ficha","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","lineas_actuacion_tematicas-drivers-of-biodiversity-loss"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
