{"id":97861372,"date":"2022-04-13T13:37:36","date_gmt":"2022-04-13T11:37:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/proyectos_ficha\/miera-conservation-of-the-cantabrian-burgos-mountains\/"},"modified":"2022-04-13T13:37:36","modified_gmt":"2022-04-13T11:37:36","slug":"miera-conservation-of-the-cantabrian-burgos-mountains","status":"publish","type":"proyectos_ficha","link":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/en\/proyectos_ficha\/miera-conservation-of-the-cantabrian-burgos-mountains\/","title":{"rendered":"Miera, conservation of the Cantabrian-Burgos mountains"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>The project has contributed to the conservation and restoration of different Natura 2000 Network areas in the Cantabrian-Burgos border area, including the Special Areas of Conservation (SACs) &#8220;R\u00edo Miera&#8221;, &#8220;Monta\u00f1a Oriental&#8221; and &#8220;Dunas del puntal y Estuario del Miera&#8221; and the Site of Community Importance (SCI) &#8220;montes de Valnera&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>The restoration work made it possible to plant more than 4,000 trees of native species such as rowans, birches and beeches, the elimination of more than 15,000 kilograms of invasive species and the removal of 2,450 kilograms of waste around the different habitats around the Miera River.<\/li>\n<li>The monitoring of species included in the Habitats Directive was carried out, such as the European flying deer (<em>Lucanus cervus<\/em>) or the damselfly (<em>Coenagrion mercuriale<\/em>), both classified as &#8220;near threatened&#8221; by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).<\/li>\n<li>The initiative has promoted native and traditional breeds of livestock, such as Carranzana sheep and Losino horses, classified as endangered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":11,"featured_media":22405,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"financiaci_n":[],"lineas_actuacion_tematicas":[654],"class_list":["post-97861372","proyectos_ficha","type-proyectos_ficha","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","lineas_actuacion_tematicas-terrestrial-ecosystems"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.5 -
