{"id":97861375,"date":"2022-03-31T11:59:03","date_gmt":"2022-03-31T09:59:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/proyectos_ficha\/conserving-populations-from-the-largest-to-the-smallest\/"},"modified":"2022-03-31T11:59:03","modified_gmt":"2022-03-31T09:59:03","slug":"conserving-populations-from-the-largest-to-the-smallest","status":"publish","type":"proyectos_ficha","link":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/en\/proyectos_ficha\/conserving-populations-from-the-largest-to-the-smallest\/","title":{"rendered":"Conserving populations, from the largest to the smallest"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project, focused on the conservation of various threatened species, has contributed to the recovery of colonies that were extinct of some species such as the black vulture and the lesser kestrel.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">A total of 106 specimens of black vulture and lesser kestrel have been released with the aim of contributing to the recovery of their populations through reintroduction and reinforcement techniques.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The actions carried out between 2019 and 2020 have served to assess the main threats to the conservation of some of the most endangered birds of prey of the Spanish fauna.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">A total of 43 specimens of black vulture, imperial eagle, red kite, Montagu&#8217;s harrier, Egyptian vulture and lesser kestrel have been equipped with GPS technology, making it possible to advance in the knowledge of the areas of grazing, dispersal routes and migration, as well as to act on the potential threats that affect these different species in a wide territory on an international scale.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":11,"featured_media":22405,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"financiaci_n":[],"lineas_actuacion_tematicas":[654],"class_list":["post-97861375","proyectos_ficha","type-proyectos_ficha","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","lineas_actuacion_tematicas-terrestrial-ecosystems"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
