{"id":97861379,"date":"2022-02-25T11:08:22","date_gmt":"2022-02-25T10:08:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/proyectos_ficha\/nature-incore-nature-at-the-heart-of-decisions\/"},"modified":"2022-02-25T11:08:22","modified_gmt":"2022-02-25T10:08:22","slug":"nature-incore-nature-at-the-heart-of-decisions","status":"publish","type":"proyectos_ficha","link":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/en\/proyectos_ficha\/nature-incore-nature-at-the-heart-of-decisions\/","title":{"rendered":"Nature-Incore: Nature at the heart of decisions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Nature-Incore project arises with the purpose of training <strong>sustainability and environmental professionals and managers of companies of all sizes in the Community of Madrid and Catalonia <\/strong>in the <strong>natural capital approach,<\/strong> so that they can incorporate it into the company&#8217;s daily decision-making, through information and training on concepts,  knowledge and tools.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DESCRIPTION: <\/strong>Especially after the unfortunate health crisis in which we are still embroiled, the evidence that the nature loss crisis we face is also an economic and financial crisis \u2013 with short-term and large-scale effects \u2013 is clearer than ever.<\/p>\n<p>This has led to the growing recognition of the<strong>the need for the business sector, the<\/strong> main beneficiary of the resources and services provided by natural ecosystems,<strong>Know<\/strong> Enough<strong>its relationship with nature and contributes to its protection, maintenance and improvement<\/strong>. To this end, it is crucial that companies better identify, measure, assess and prioritize their impacts and dependencies on it; that is, that <strong>integrate nature into their decision-making.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Carrying out this mission is not easy. It requires time, knowledge and specific resources (human and material) that, with the appropriate theoretical and practical guidance, are feasible and affordable for any organization. <strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nature-Incore offers an online training itinerary adapted to profiles<em>beginners, advanced or ambassadors of natural capital. <\/em>More specifically, the defined training and training modules include<strong>concrete and approachable steps<\/strong> so that each profile<strong>Walk the path of natural capital<\/strong> depending on where you start. The objective of this action is to <strong>improve participants&#8217; knowledge<\/strong> of<strong>natural capital approach<\/strong> and<strong>ecosystem services<\/strong>, with particular emphasis on the importance of recognizing the value of ecosystem services,<strong>biodiversity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Students will have materials aimed at:<\/p>\n<p><strong>DEEPEN<\/strong> your knowledge of the natural capital approach and its application in the company at all levels.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IDENTIFY <\/strong>the different business motivations for adopting the natural capital approach and its potential applications.<\/p>\n<p><strong>KNOW<\/strong> the risks and opportunities associated with natural capital.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ASSESS <\/strong>the scope of application of natural capital approaches: value chain, supply chain, assessment, measurement, valuation and communication of impacts and dependencies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RECOGNIZE <\/strong>the natural assets and ecosystem services most relevant to their businesses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>INTRODUCE<\/strong> the concept of &#8220;nature-positve&#8221; and the definition of Science-Based Targets.<\/p>\n<p><strong>INTRODUCE <\/strong>natural capital accounting at the corporate or public level.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EXPLORE <\/strong>what tools exist and are most suitable for each training profile and business reality and how to use them in organizations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UPDATE on<\/strong> regulatory frameworks in this area and global initiatives that work to provide guidance to companies on how to incorporate natural capital considerations into their processes and how to improve their environmental performance and reporting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":11,"featured_media":22405,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"financiaci_n":[651],"lineas_actuacion_tematicas":[],"class_list":["post-97861379","proyectos_ficha","type-proyectos_ficha","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","financiaci_n-fondo-social-europeo-en"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
