{"id":97861489,"date":"2019-12-06T19:44:04","date_gmt":"2019-12-06T18:44:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/proyectos_ficha\/population-recovery-of-cottus-hispaniolensis-through-physical-habitat-management\/"},"modified":"2019-12-06T19:44:04","modified_gmt":"2019-12-06T18:44:04","slug":"population-recovery-of-cottus-hispaniolensis-through-physical-habitat-management","status":"publish","type":"proyectos_ficha","link":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/en\/proyectos_ficha\/population-recovery-of-cottus-hispaniolensis-through-physical-habitat-management\/","title":{"rendered":"Population recovery of Cottus hispaniolensis through physical habitat management"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong>The project has contributed to obtaining data on the ecological and biological requirements of cavilat (<em>Cottus hispaniolensis<\/em>) in Spain with a view to the conservation and improvement of its populations and to develop a conservation strategy for the species.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>It <\/strong><strong>has been found that the optimal physical habitat of this fish endemic to the upper basin of the Garonne River is in somewhat deep areas with a medium-low water speed.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The sections of the river suitable for reintroductions and repopulations of the species have been identified and an improvement of the breeding habitat has been carried out with the implantation of 104 artificial nests.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The cavilat has a very small global distribution area and its populations have experienced a sharp decline in recent decades.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":11,"featured_media":22405,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"financiaci_n":[],"lineas_actuacion_tematicas":[654],"class_list":["post-97861489","proyectos_ficha","type-proyectos_ficha","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","lineas_actuacion_tematicas-terrestrial-ecosystems"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
