{"id":97861499,"date":"2019-12-06T19:06:14","date_gmt":"2019-12-06T18:06:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/proyectos_ficha\/conservation-of-galemys-pyrenaicus-and-mustela-lutreola\/"},"modified":"2019-12-06T19:06:14","modified_gmt":"2019-12-06T18:06:14","slug":"conservation-of-galemys-pyrenaicus-and-mustela-lutreola","status":"publish","type":"proyectos_ficha","link":"https:\/\/fundacion-biodiversidad.es\/en\/proyectos_ficha\/conservation-of-galemys-pyrenaicus-and-mustela-lutreola\/","title":{"rendered":"Conservation of Galemys pyrenaicus and Mustela lutreola"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong>The project has contributed to improving the conservation status of the European mink (<em>Mustela lutreola<\/em>) and the Iberian desman (<em>Galemys pyrenaicus<\/em>), two mammals considered endangered by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>For the conservation of the Iberian desman, a new facility has been built to promote captive breeding and artificial nests have been introduced with the aim of increasing the places of refuge for these species in their habitat.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>With regard to the European mink, it has been possible to increase the number of specimens housed in the Camadoca Centre (Barcelona), which is key to <\/strong><strong>maintaining the genetic variability of the species and contributing to the generation of new individuals for future repopulation.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The initiative has involved important awareness-raising work, including the training of volunteers, the holding of presentations in schools or the publication of an informative story aimed at infant and primary school students.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":11,"featured_media":22405,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"financiaci_n":[],"lineas_actuacion_tematicas":[654],"class_list":["post-97861499","proyectos_ficha","type-proyectos_ficha","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","lineas_actuacion_tematicas-terrestrial-ecosystems"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
