To promote the correct coordination and execution of the INTEMARES project, ensuring the effectiveness of the actions under the responsibility of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO).

  • Execution of actions within the framework of the LIFE IP INTEMARES project (Integrated, innovative and participatory management of the Natura 2000 marine network in Spain), for which MITECO is responsible, related to research, management planning and conservation of species and areas, and their surveillance and monitoring.
  • Support to the coordination of the project partners.
  • Review of research reports submitted by partners.
  • Development of species conservation plans, strategies and protocols.
    and protected areas.
  • Execution and technical and economic follow-up of the project’s actions.
  • Analysis of the results and impact of the project’s actions. Monitoring of compliance with performance and result indicators.
  • Identification and dissemination of best practices, preparation of speeches and presentations,
    participation in the elaboration of publications, production of summaries and reports of activities and results, dissemination of the program in social networks and on the web platform, and organization of events and conferences.
  • Preparation of proposals for improvement and contribution to the better performance of project evaluation, monitoring and control tasks.
  • Monitoring of new developments in regulations, strategies, plans, programs or projects related to the subject matter of the projects and in their preparation and drafting.
  • Support for the rest of the project coordination tasks.
  • Any other function entrusted by the Coordination, Sub-direction and Direction.
  • University degree in Biology, Environmental Sciences or Earth Sciences.
  • Work experience of at least four years in the performance of tasks similar to those described above in public or public sector entities.
  • At least four years of work experience in species conservation and site management plans and strategies.
  • At least four years of experience in LIFE projects or other calls financed by the European Commission.
  • English level C1 (it will be necessary to prove it by means of an official language diploma)
  • Master’s degree in nature conservation or management of protected natural areas.
  • Specific training in project management.
  • Temporary contract (interim) in accordance with current legislation, with the professional category of MANAGER.
  • Gross Annual Salary: 40.261,92 €.
  • Job location: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
