BIODIV_INFR.VERDE_LPGC is an exemplary project of the municipal strategy for the renaturalization of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the regeneration of native biodiversity in urban areas. It includes actions in eight publicly owned sites and six green connectors in the pedestrian routes that link them, focused on the thermophilic ecosystem, the Canary Island palm grove and the thermomediterranean scrubland. The area over which the project operates is 459,000 m2 and 12 km of connectors, with the plantation of 10,000 trees and shrubs.
