PRTR Call for Proposals Project
RENATURReus aims to establish guidelines, criteria and actions to be undertaken to increase biodiversity and greenness in favor of the city, under the participatory approach of entities and individuals, to make a more sustainable, green and healthy environment. The project redefines the urban public space, mainly through the replacement of asphalted and impermeable surfaces with Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems and the recovery of water runoff management as a structuring element of the public space. This will contribute to making Reus a more resilient city in the face of climate change.

4.000.000,00€The proposals of RENATURReus contribute to the recovery, renaturalization and connectivity of the green-blue infrastructure of the municipality. With the development of its plans, ecosystemic knowledge is expanded and global strategies for future action are established through urban planning as an environmental network of reconnection with the territory, incorporating ecosystemic services, integrating the city and public space with the rural and agricultural environment. The project considers citizen participation to be essential, and therefore includes a plan to accompany citizens in actions such as the development of green areas and the renaturalization of the city. In addition, indicators are proposed for all actions, to monitor and report on the objectives achieved.
