Within the framework of the Molina Naturally Plan, which is configured as the Green Infrastructure, Connectivity and Ecological Restoration Plan of Molina de Segura, the creation of a Green Ring is proposed for the renaturalization of the city, so that green areas, parks and gardens, as well as reforested areas, are enclaves for the increase of biodiversity, shields against climate change and tools for soil protection and improve rainwater infiltration to control large runoffs that can cause fatal floods. This ring will also seek to enhance the economic and social value of public green spaces while offering excellent opportunities for leisure and outdoor activities in the restored areas.
