THEME: The theme of the project is circular economy.

DESCRIPTION: The project seeks to improve the professional and curricular skills of the unemployed through quality training in areas related to the Circular Economy. The aim of this improvement is to help find employment in the sectors that form part of the green sector of the Spanish economy.

The project builds on the experience of the project for workers that was developed during 2018 “Improving the qualification and employability of workers in environmental sectors linked to the Circular Economy.” and of the project aimed at the unemployed developed during 2019. “Improving employability through training in sectors linked to the circular economy”. In these projects, the recipients are asked to evaluate the actions they have developed and the training suggestions they propose. In this case, the project is offered modified and adapted to these demands and to the recommendations of employment demand services on what aspects can improve the employability of the recipients.

The project consists of 21 training actions (11 FM and 10 FD) on different topics within the circular economy, such as xeriscaping, pest control, interpretation of the natural environment, environmental management in the company and water purification and treatment, aimed at unemployed people from Castilla La Mancha, Andalusia, Madrid and Murcia.

The percentage of participation of women in the project will be 40%, while the percentage of participation of other priority groups (sum of the rest of the groups except women) will be 80%.
