OBJECTIVE
The objective of the project is to train unemployed people in resin production, contributing to sustainable forest management, the creation of rural employment and the consolidation of the resin market. In addition to training and job creation, the aim is to promote collective management, taking advantage of the current good situation of the resin sector and the great potential of the multifunctionality of Spanish pine forests.
DESCRIPTION
A P2P network is one in which a series of nodes, in this case organizations and companies, operate in a coordinated and supportive manner, promoting the exchange of goods and services in an interconnected way. The resin market in Spain is experiencing a renaissance due to the current situation of the international market for this raw material. Europe’s dependence on resin from outside its borders, mainly China, and fluctuations in the market are leading to growing demand from developing countries. This makes resin production interesting again in economic and strategic terms, with added social and ecological potential.
