  • Collaborate in the promotion and consolidation of a line of work to promote the bioeconomy and manage projects and calls for proposals related to the forest bioeconomy.
  • To assist the Area Coordinator in the planning of the different actions of the area, both linked to calls for proposals and own projects or other types of activities.
  • Follow-up of the execution of calls for proposals, projects and their actions, organizing and supervising the team.
  • Manage calls for proposals and tenders: Participate in the technical design and preparation of calls for proposals, specifications, forms, and procedures associated with calls for proposals and tenders (contracts); manage the publication process; support the team during the period of submission of applications in calls for proposals and proposals in tenders; follow up and support in the evaluation of applications; process consultations to the advisory bodies of the calls for proposals and tenders; perform detailed evaluations of the proposals submitted and prepare and assist the evaluation committees of calls for proposals.
  • Technical and economic monitoring of projects and project procedures

  • Contribute to the reporting of program indicators and prepare progress and results reports.
    – Support the Area Coordinator in the preparation of documentation and allegations in response to requests from the Intervención General de la Administración Estado (IGAE), Tribunal de Cuentas (TC) and third parties.
  • Organize, attend and participate in meetings and events, including the proposal of topics of the
    agenda, identification of participants, preparation of documents and presentations, etc.; represent the Area at external meetings, events and functions and contribute to outreach activities; training workshops, seminars, etc.; make presentations on assigned topics and activities.
  • Any other function entrusted by the Coordination, Sub-direction and/or Direction.
  • Bachelor’s degree (also former Diplomatura and Licenciatura).
  • At least five years of professional experience in project management and coordination.

  • At least three years of experience in team management.
  • Advanced English proficiency (Level B2 or higher).
  • Specific training or experience of at least three years in bioeconomy, nature conservation, environmental or sustainable development projects. Experience and knowledge in aspects and projects related to the management and use of forestry as a key resource for conservation, local bioeconomy and demographic challenge will be especially valued.
  • At least three years of experience in the management of calls for proposals for grants and public funds.
  • Knowledge or work in the public sector or in the Public Sector Contracts Law and the General Subsidies Law.
  • Immediate availability
  • Temporary fixed-term contract for the execution of the Recovery Plan,
    Transformation and Resilience. (Fifth additional provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with a professional category of chief.
  • Location of the position: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
  • Gross Annual Salary: 40.654,72 €.
  • Expected duration: until December 2026.
