Project economic technician (temporary) for the Green Economy and Employment Area

- Participate in the preparation of documents associated with calls for grants, awards/recognition and economic tenders.
- To train, accompany and assist the applicant entities during the presentation, execution, justification and liquidation of the projects. Evaluate proposals submitted to the calls for proposals.
- Perform the technical and economic follow-up of the execution, justification, liquidation and payment of the projects.
- Prepare and review interim and final reports on the liquidation of call projects, as well as possible reopenings.
- Administrative and financial management of projects.
- To verify and control the correct application of the General Law on Subsidies and the Law on Public Sector Contracts, as well as to review the eligibility of the expenses charged to the projects managed by the Area.
- To monitor developments in regulations, strategies, plans, programs and projects related to the Area’s activities.
- Support in the preparation of the necessary documents for the selection, creation and monitoring of operations co-financed by the ESF+, as well as in their uploading to the computer application enabled by the Funds’ Administrative Unit.
- Support in the preparation and uploading of fund reporting and certification documents to the Fund Administration Unit. To support the control and auditing processes of the activities carried out, such as those performed by the General Intervention of the State Administration and the Court of Auditors.
- Any other function entrusted by the Heads, Coordination, Subdirection and Management.
- University degree (also former Bachelor’s and Bachelor’s Degrees)
- At least 2 years of experience in the management and economic verification of public sector aid.
- High level in the use of Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.).
- At least 2 years of experience in projects co-financed with European Structural and Investment Funds.
- Experience working in or with Intermediate Bodies managing Structural Funds in general and/or European Social Fund.
- Experience in the management of projects co-financed with the European Social Fund.
- Experience in economic and budgetary management.
- Experience in the management of projects related to training, employment promotion and entrepreneurship.
- Intermediate level of English (B1 level or equivalent).
- Temporary fixed-term contract for the execution of projects financed with European Union Funds (Fifth Additional Provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with the professional category of TECHNICIAN.
- Location of the position: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
- Gross Annual Salary: 27.130,42 €.
- Maximum planned duration: until December 2029
