- WWF has participated in national and international advisory bodies, and has monitored the main agreements signed by Spain to convey the environmental sensitivity of civil society and channel its participation.
- During the project, the legislation in force and the development of different topics at national and European level were monitored.

230.000,00 €Civil society organizations play an important role in promoting active citizenship in Europe as they channel the participation of European citizens to ensure compliance with sustainable development objectives, environmental policies and international environmental conventions to which Spain is a signatory.
The main objective is to contribute to environmental protection and biodiversity conservation through public participation and political action during 2022 and 2023.
Specific goals include:
- Ensure the participation of WWF Spain in regulations with environmental impact (Royal Decrees, drafts, orders, definition, proposal and execution of plans and programs) of policies of state and European competence, and in the fulfillment of international agreements to which Spain is a signatory, representing civil society and environmental groups.
- Influence national and European environmental policies and the transposition of community directives and international conventions to improve their application in Spain, guaranteeing gender equality and thanks to the monitoring of these and of political action.
- Participation in and monitoring of national and European advisory bodies and commissions.
- Participation and monitoring in national and international environmental networks.
- Monitoring of national environmental policies.
- Monitoring of European policies and the transposition of EU directives.
- Follow-up of international agreements.
- Participation in the monitoring and contribution of allegations and observations in forest, climate change, energy, species, natural areas, etc., and biodiversity conservation policies at both national and international level.
- At the national level, we have followed up on the legislation in force and on the development of different topics.
- At the European level, coordination between WWF national offices and political action work with the European institutions has been strengthened.
