Within the framework of the calls for grants executed by the Fundación Biodiversidad and the projects
The selected person will perform the following functions:

  • To assist in the design, planning and monitoring of the Area’s activities and in the supervision and
    organization of the work team.
  • Participate in the preparation of regulatory bases, calls for proposals, models, forms, specifications and procedures that are designed as tools to promote projects and aid for agroecological transition and sustainable territorial development.
  • Promote that the projects managed promote an economy that benefits biodiversity, achieve impact transformations, as well as work for the coordination and generation of synergies among the projects financed by the BF.
  • Coordinate and participate in the evaluation process and in the conduct of proposal evaluation committees.
  • To carry out and coordinate the technical and economic follow-up of the projects and the justification, settlement and payment procedures.
  • Prepare technical reports for the different phases of justification during project execution.
  • Contribute to program reporting and prepare reports and notes on progress, status, indicators and results of the activities carried out or specific topics of the area, as well as the alignment with different sectorial policies.
  • Support in the preparation of documentation and allegations for the General Comptroller’s Office of the
    State Administration (IGAE), the Court of Auditors (TC) and third parties.
  • Support in the preparation of documentation and material necessary for communication, representation and participation in forums and events.
  • Organize and/or participate in internal and external meetings, working groups and events and deliver presentations on assigned topics and activities.
  • Contribute in the strategic definition processes and processes of improvement and better performance of the Area tasks.
  • Keep abreast of the most relevant technical, strategic and political issues and framework in relation to the subject matter of the projects managed.
  • Any other function entrusted by the Coordination, Sub-direction and/or Direction.
  • Advanced university degree (Bachelor’s degree or former Bachelor’s and Diploma) in the field of Earth Sciences.
  • At least five years of professional experience in project management and coordination and/or
    initiatives related to sustainability, especially in the agricultural sector.
  • At least three years of experience in team management.
  • University degrees such as Agricultural Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or
    specializations in the field of good practices and sustainability in agriculture and livestock.
  • Experience working or collaborating with entities in the agricultural and/or livestock sector and/or participating in projects and initiatives related to the implementation of good agricultural practices, regenerative agriculture, water saving practices and biodiversity improvement, etc.
  • At least three years of experience in the management of calls for proposals for grants and public funds.
  • Knowledge or work in the public sector or in the Public Sector Contracts Law and the General Subsidies Law.
  • Advanced English proficiency (Level C1 or higher).
  • Immediate availability.
  • Temporary contract (interim) for the replacement of a person with the right to reserve a position, with the professional category of MANAGER.
  • Job location: Madrid
  • Gross Annual Salary: 40,654.72 €.
  • Location of the position: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
