Economic Technician of 1st (temporary) Projects for the Area of Green Economy and Employment

Manage and monitor calls and projects in the area of green economy and employment of the Biodiversity Foundation.
The area promotes initiatives, such as the Empleaverde Programme (co-financed by the ESF+), which facilitate access to training and allow people, both unemployed and working and entrepreneurial, to face the changes that occur in the labour market with greater confidence.

  • To support the monitoring, management, verification and economic-financial settlement of the projects of calls for subsidies and projects of the Green Economy and Employment Area.
  • Participate in the preparation of documents associated with calls for subsidies and tenders.
  • To train, accompany and assist the participating entities during the presentation, execution, justification and settlement of the projects. Evaluate proposals submitted to the calls for proposals.
  • Perform the technical and economic follow-up of the execution, justification, liquidation and payment of the projects.
  • Prepare and review interim and final reports on the liquidation of call projects, as well as possible reopenings.
  • Administrative and financial management of projects.
  • To verify and control the correct application of the General Law on Subsidies and the Law on Public Sector Contracts, as well as to review the eligibility of the expenses charged to the projects managed by the Area.
  • To monitor developments in regulations, strategies, plans, programs and projects related to the Area’s activities.
  • Support in the preparation of the necessary documents for the selection, creation and monitoring of operations co-financed by the ESF+, as well as in their uploading to the computer application enabled by the Funds’ Administrative Unit.
  • Support in the preparation and uploading of fund reporting and certification documents to the Fund Administration Unit. To support the control and auditing processes of the activities carried out, such as those performed by the General Intervention of the State Administration and the Court of Auditors.
  • Any other function entrusted by the Heads, Coordination, Subdirection and Management.
  • University degree (also former Bachelor’s and Bachelor’s Degrees)
  • Experience of at least 3 years in the economic and budgetary management of projects financed by European funds.
  • High level in the use of Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • University degree (also formerly Diploma and Bachelor’s degree) in economics: Business Administration, Economics and/or Business Sciences or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in or for the public sector.
  • Experience of at least 3 years in or with Intermediate Bodies for the management of the Structural Funds.
  • Experience of at least 3 years in the management of projects co-financed with the European Social Fund
  • Experience of at least 3 years in the management of projects related to training, the promotion of employment and entrepreneurship.
  • Intermediate level of English (B1 level or equivalent).
  • Fixed-term temporary contract for the execution of projects financed with European Union Funds (Fifth Additional Provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with the professional category of 1st TECHNICIAN
  • Location of the position: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
  • Gross Annual Salary: €32,400.25
  • Maximum planned duration: until December 2029
