The general objective of the BlueTwinning project is to bring fishing culture closer to schools in the interior of the peninsula through a Sea-Earth school twinning system. This objective will be achieved through the implementation of the following specific objectives:

• The generation of content related to the marine environment, the importance of protecting and recovering marine biodiversity and sustainable fishing activities.
• Training for educators who can collaborate with educational centres in raising awareness and disseminating public information on sustainability and conservation of the marine environment.
• Create a network of blue schools (BlueTwining) indoors through a school twinning system.

• Development of content related to the marine environment
• Review of already available resources created with previous projects of the Pleamar Program
• Identification of inland centres and twinning with centres in the Balearic Islands
• Training of educators with application of the Service Learning methodology
• Activities that bring the sea closer to inland centres during the course
• Monitoring of protected areas by students
• Workshops at destination by fishermen on sustainable fishing
