The director of the Biodiversity Foundation, Sonia Castañeda, has participated in the presentation of the 12 Months Summer Campaign of Mediaset Spain.

The director of the Biodiversity Foundation, Sonia Castañeda, has participated in the presentation of the 12 Months Summer Campaign of Mediaset Spain.

In an event held on Punta Prima beach, Mediaset España has presented the new actions to raise awareness and awareness of the importance of care and respect for the environment. During the presentation, Sonia Castañeda presented the actions on the coast launched by the Biodiversity Foundation, emphasizing the key role of the “Beaches, Volunteering and Land Stewardship” Program, whose objective is to promote the involvement of citizens in the conservation of the coast, through the development of volunteer programs in spaces with land stewardship agreements.

On the twentieth anniversary of the declaration of Menorca as a Natural Biosphere Reserve, Mediaset España has chosen this island for the implementation of its special beach cleaning actions. In this way, during these months, holidaymakers will have reusable blue bags, distributed to store waste and be able to move it to the nearest recycling compartments. An awareness-raising action that aims to expand the slogan of the campaign “This summer before putting away the towel, clean your beach meter”.
