The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and the Environment, through the Biodiversity Foundation, has announced the second edition of the Red Emprendeverde Awards, which seek to recognize the work of those entrepreneurs who contribute to the development of the green economy with their projects, thus helping them to create or consolidate their companies and businesses.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and the Environment, through the Biodiversity Foundation, has announced the second edition of the Red Emprendeverde Awards, which seek to recognize the work of those entrepreneurs who contribute to the development of the green economy with their projects, thus helping them to create or consolidate their companies and businesses.
All interested entrepreneurs may participate in one of the two established categories: creation of an innovative green company or young companies already established with a maximum of 5 years of age with potential for growth and job creation. To participate it is necessary to be a member of the Emprendeverde Network, in addition to completing a participation form available on the www.emprendeverde.es website.
The period for submitting applications will remain open until 21 February. A technical committee will select up to 35 finalist initiatives, which will receive specialized training from the ESADE and IESE business schools, and from which the economic prizes will be chosen, chosen by a jury of great prestige in the world of entrepreneurship and the environment.
In both categories, the first prize will receive a cash prize of 6,000 euros, while the second selected project will be rewarded with 3,000 euros. There will also be a second prize for an initiative that stands out for its protection of biodiversity that will also have a prize of 6,000 euros.
Likewise, the candidatures will be eligible to be recognized with the special mentions Young Green Entrepreneur, Green Entrepreneur, R+D+i, Emprendeverde Network Community and special mention to the social and green entrepreneurship Momentum Project + Emprendeverde, whose winner will participate in BBVA’s Momentum Project program.
