The Cantabrian Network for Rural Development and the Rural Tourism Association of Cantabria have signed a collaboration agreement with which they seek to promote the rural regions of the community, based on the “Naturea Cantabria” project, a rural revitalization program aimed at economic and social development and the conservation of Nature in the region of Cantabria.
In view of this objective, a new programme has been developed that combines tourism and Protected Natural Areas as one of the main attractions of the region. Among other actions, activities for groups, promotional campaigns, incentive programs for visitors and meetings for the presentation of the different initiatives will be developed.
It is thus an agreement that will serve as a resource for entrepreneurs in rural areas that promotes the promotion of tourism in an area with an important natural heritage while working on its conservation and facilitating access to these protected areas.
