Approving measures that can be implemented from 2014 is the main objective of the conference ‘Rural-territorial development in the 2014-2020 programming period’ that is being held in Santander today, October 31.

It is a nationwide meeting to analyse the keys to Spanish rural development, organised by the Cantabrian Network for Rural Development and the State Network for Rural Development (REDER) and which brings together professionals in various working groups.

The conference will analyse the role of the State Network for Rural Development in the coming years in relation to the diversification of the economy in rural areas in search of answers for future policies in this area.
