The application and development of environmental policies for the conservation of biodiversity require the active and committed participation of society. The proposal reflects the vision of SEO/BirdLife: a world rich in biodiversity, where human beings and nature coexist in harmony.
The objectives and actions in this project constitute the framework for the work of SEO/BirdLife planned for 2024 and 2025.
The programme includes a significant commitment to the ecological transition; with a European Commission with a similar agenda, thanks to the EU Green Deal and the European Biodiversity Strategy and the opportunity provided by the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, as well as with an international agenda of enormous significance for the future of the planet once the Global Biodiversity Framework until 2030 has been approved.
The main objective of the project is to ensure the participation of society in the development, implementation and monitoring of environmental policies.
It has the following secondary objectives:
Social participation in the application and development of environmental policies for biodiversity conservation (2024-2025)
