IPADE publishes a guide on water management in Guatemala

Share on:

The IPADE Foundation has published a toolkit for the integration of the gender approach in water management and sanitation projects in rural Guatemalan communities.

The aim of the publication is to make visible the role of women as agents of development and to facilitate understanding in water management, inviting reflection to provide future actions with this approach.

Based on IPADE’s experience over more than eight years, the guide describes and analyzes the impacts and quality of projects executed in municipalities and rural communities in Sololá and Quiché.

The IPADE Foundation is an NGO specialising in the environment that, since 1987, has been working on development cooperation projects in Latin America, Africa and Asia, supporting vulnerable populations living in disadvantaged areas of rural areas.
