The official website of the Spain-United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Alliance for protected areas, which is part of the LifeWeb-Spain initiative, has published a video showing the key activities that are being carried out in the Garamba National Park.

The video shows how it is about protecting the biodiversity that the Congolese park is home to, as well as the efforts made to support the rehabilitation and expansion of its infrastructure, including the construction of a hospital for local communities and park workers, in order to improve health services.

Aerial surveys are also being carried out to monitor illegal activities and animal populations. The short film about the Garamba National Park is available in Spanish, English and French, on the website of the Spain-UNEP Alliance.
