The editor of Casiopea Ediciones, Pilar Tejera, accompanied by the director of the Biodiversity Foundation, Ana Leiva, presented today in Madrid the book “The Forest and I”. Álvaro Rodríguez, from The Climate Reality Spain and Maribel Gutiérrez, from the Global Nature Foundation, also participated in the presentation.

This publication, published on the occasion of the celebration of the International Year of Forests, brings together the stories of 40 women from all over the world related to the preservation of the environment, adventure, literature, etc., who contribute their particular vision of the world of forests.
The result is a collection of experiences, emotions and thoughts under the treetops that constitute a collection of exciting stories that make us reflect on the influence and energy transmitted by the green species in our environment.
Among the women who have selflessly participated with their stories in this book are the activist and primatologist Jane Goodall; the director of the Biodiversity Foundation, Ana Leiva; the director of Intermón Oxfam, Ariane Arpa; the director of the Global Nature Foundation, Amanda del Río; the coordinator of forest restoration of WWF Spain, Lourdes Hernández; the director of the Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente Foundation, Odile Rodríguez de la Fuente, as well as leading experts from the FAO or the pilot Mercé Martí.
