The director of the Biodiversity Foundation, Ana Leiva, participated today, in Valencia, in the presentation of the IV Edition of the Green Awards granted by the José Navarro Foundation for the Promotion of Smart Food.

These awards aim to recognise excellence in the performance of those people and organisations that have promoted the promotion of ecology, biodiversity and smart food with their work.

Ana Leiva has been in charge of presenting the award in the Agricultural or Industrial Company category to Millennial Olive Trees, for the dedication of a group of oil mills to the care, harvesting and production of oil from ancient olive trees. This award is shared with the horchata production company Naturvita.

Among the winners of this IV Edition of the Green Awards are also the former director of Greenpeace, Juan López de Uralde; the designer Guillén Ferrer; the journalist Xelo Miralles and the sculptor Josep San Juan.
