The EOI holds a conference on the carbon footprint

Under the title “The Carbon Footprint as a Key Factor of Competitiveness in Business”, the School of Industrial Organization (EOI) organizes a meeting that will be held at the Madrid Campus of the entity on September 20 from 11.30 am.

The objective of the meeting is to delve into the business opportunities involved in the implementation of low-carbon management within companies to position their brand and generate market at a national and international level.

The presentations that will be given are the following:

  • “The carbon footprint as an instrument of competitive differentiation. The experience of The Carbon Trust in the United Kingdom”, by Hugh Jones, Managing Director Carbon Trust.
  • “The strategy of the Spanish Office for Climate Change in Carbon Footprint”, by Eduardo González, Deputy Director General of Coordination of Actions against Climate Change of the Spanish Office for Climate Change.
  • “The carbon footprint in an energy company. The Repsol Experience”, by Jaime Martín, director of Repsol’s Carbon and Environmental Footprint Unit and professor at the EOI.

The moderation will be carried out by Marcos López-Brea, General Director of Ubuntu Consultancy Services and professor at the EOI.
