The Korean province of Jeju is hosting the next IUCN World Conservation Congress, which will take place from 6 to 15 September 2012. Preparations for the congress are actively underway.
Thus, the call for contributions to the congress has already been opened by the organization, in order to invite various organizations to propose activities to be part of the forum that will be held from September 7 to 11 within the framework of the congress. Within this forum, IUCN members and partners will discuss innovative ideas, thoughts and practices.
On the www.iucn.org/congress website you can access information about the forum and you can develop a proposal. In addition, you can consult the latest news about the congress and find out about the call for contributions. The user can view the actions already incorporated or create their own. The call will be open until October 15.
The World Conservation Congress is the largest and most important conservation event in the world. It is celebrated every four years, with the aim of improving the way we manage our natural environment for human, social and economic development.
