Menéndez Pelayo International University Meeting 2010

From 6 to 8 September 2010, the Palacio de la Magdalena in Santander will host the meeting “Whose initiative? Innovative experiences for a sustainable society”, organized by the Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs by the Menéndez Pelayo International University.

 

From 6 to 8 September 2010, the Palacio de la Magdalena in Santander will host the meeting “Whose initiative? Innovative experiences for a sustainable society”, organized by the Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs by the Menéndez Pelayo International University.

Individuals, companies, associations and institutions that have set to work with the aim of producing in a new context of “ecological culture”, will meet during the conference, in which the modification of consumption habits and the establishment of a new production system and values, among which environmental responsibility, the change of cultural paradigm and the promotion of a new ecological economy.

The meeting, led by Jaime Izquierdo, from the Cabinet of the Minister of the Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs, will be inaugurated by Minister Elena Espinosa, Jesús Miguel Oria, Minister of Rural Development, Livestock, Fisheries and Biodiversity of the Government of Cantabria and Francisco Martín, Minister of Environment of Cantabria
