The Secretary of State for Rural Affairs and Water and president of the FB, Josep Puxeu, together with the president of the Mancomunidad de la Taula del Sénia, Núria Ventura, and the president of the Territorio del Sénia Association, Josefa Cid, presented, on April 23, the pilot project of the National Rural Network “Oil and millenary olive trees of the Territorio del Sénia”.
The Biodiversity Foundation collaborates with this project through the initiative “Millennial Olive Trees, Commitment to the Future”, which aims to preserve all the ancient or monumental olive trees existing in the Mancomunidad de la Taula del Sénia, which includes 24 municipalities in the Valencian Community, Aragon and Catalonia, in addition to restoring the landscape environment of these trees.
