The director of the Biodiversity Foundation presents the ideas competition to restore the former possessions of Archduke Lluís Salvador

The aim of this initiative, which this institution is developing in collaboration with the Island Council of Mallorca, is to define the best way to highlight the environmental, social, cultural and recreational aspects of the former possessions of Archduke Luís Salvador.

The director of the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry of the Environment, María Artola, presented today in Palma de Mallorca the ideas competition for the enhancement of the historic site of the possessions of Archduke Lluís Salvador, which this institution convenes in collaboration with the Island Council of Mallorca. María Artola was accompanied by the Executive Minister of the Environment and Nature of the Island Council of Mallorca, Miguel Ángel Borrás, and the president of the Associació Amics de s’Arxiduc, Catalina Montserrat.

The Biodiversity Foundation and the Island Council of Mallorca intend, through this ideas competition, to define the best way to value the environmental, social, cultural and recreational aspects of the former possessions of Archduke Lluís Salvador, located in the municipalities of Valldemossa and Deià, in the north of Mallorca. This area is of great interest from a historical, environmental and cultural point of view.
