The Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry of the Environment launches its own channel on the YouTube portal. To access it you have to enter www.youtube.com/biodiversidad. The objective of this initiative is to reach all citizens and disseminate the activities in which this institution works aimed at nature conservation, environmental awareness and training.

In this online channel you can find all the videos made by the Biodiversity Foundation, both those videos of its own about those activities it carries out, such as the conference in Madrid by the primatologist Jane Goodall speaking on the environment, as well as seminars, conferences and public events.

In addition, the Biodiversity Foundation uploads to this online profile the videos that it develops in collaboration with other entities, or the news produced by Localia TV Comunidad de Madrid and that consist of one-minute information on activities or projects carried out by the Biodiversity Foundation or the Ministry of the Environment.

Currently, this channel has the two versions of the trailer of the film produced by the BBC “Earth”. One of them has achieved more than 9,000 downloads in just one week. The Biodiversity Foundation and Iberdrola Renovables collaborate in the presentation in Spain of this British television documentary.

Anyone can access the Biodiversity Foundation’s channel, give their opinion on the videos shown there and subscribe for free.
