The Secretary General for the Prevention of Pollution and Climate Change, Arturo Gonzalo Aizpiri, together with the Mayor of San Sebastián, Odón Elorza, will inaugurate tomorrow, Wednesday, in San Sebastián, a meeting on climate change in coastal cities, organized by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP).
The conference is held within the framework of the Spanish Network of Cities for Climate, a joint initiative of the FEMP and the Ministry of the Environment in which 115 cities committed to sustainable development and the fight against climate change are integrated, through municipal policies that promote the reduction of greenhouse gases. During the meeting, there will be a demonstration of the Clarity project, a self-published exhibition for the dissemination of the phenomenon of global warming in which several European countries, including Spain, have participated.
