The European Commission’s Directorate-General for the Environment is organising Green Week 2006 from 30 May to 2 June. Week of conferences and exhibitions of the most outstanding European environmental practices. The main theme of this year’s event is BIODIVERSITY, which means that the Commission will emphasize those activities that contribute to avoiding the loss of Biodiversity: “Biodiversity is life”.
The Punta de la Móra Sustainable Management Project of DEPANA – Tarragona, funded by the Biodiversity Foundation, will have a stand where the best environmental practices of its project will be exhibited. The Stand called “DEPANA – Lliga per la Defensa del Patrimoni natural: Projecte de gestió sostenible punta de la Móra” will be number 17 on the first floor of the Charlemagne Building of the European Commission, Rue de la Loi 170, 1040 Brussels.
Exhibitors will share and exchange ideas and management techniques through regular meetings at seminars, training programs, fellowship projects and newsletters. It is a meeting in which more than 70 organizations will exchange experience and useful knowledge for the management of the area of natural interest Punta de la Móra.
