The Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry of the Environment will have a stand at the Youth Fair, Juvenalia 2005, which will be held from December 21 to 31 at the Juan Carlos Primero Exhibition Center in Madrid. Through this participation, the Biodiversity Foundation aims to sensitize and raise awareness among young people about the need to preserve the environment that surrounds us.
Young people who come to the stand of the Biodiversity Foundation will have computers through which they can learn to take care of the environment by accessing the games proposed in BioDíver, the section dedicated to children and young people of the website of this institution. BioDíver contains games -such as riddles, word searches, the recycling game or the game of errors-, information about the environment, as well as links to access interesting downloads such as stories or drawings related to nature.
In addition, videos on climate change will be screened in this space, young people will be informed of the activities carried out by the Biodiversity Foundation, as well as the climate change campaign “Get your Kyoto card” that this institution launched last November and they will be invited to leave their contribution to obtain the Kyoto club membership card. In addition, visitors will be presented with various gifts.
The Biodiversity Foundation’s stand is 4 A-107 B, located in Hall 4.
