The Director of Communication and Awareness of the Biodiversity Foundation, Mónica Pérez de las Heras, will participate today in Barcelona in the presentation of the book “Ecology and Conservation of Steppe-land Birds”.

In this event, the audiovisual “Birds and steppes” by the photographer Jordi Bas will be screened and the conference “Why do we want steppes? Its importance for the conservation of birds in Europe”.

The Director of Communication of the FB will be accompanied at this event by: Salvador Milà, Minister of Environment and Housing; Josep Ramon Mora, president of the Forest Technology Centre of Catalonia; Miquel Perdiguer, director of the Obra Social de Caixa Catalunya; Jordi Sargatal, director of the Territorial and Landscape Foundation; Albert Martínez Vilalta, editorial manager of Lynx Edicions and Santi Mañosa Rifé, representative of the book’s publishers.
