The Association of Environmental Information Journalists (APIA) celebrates its VI National Congress of Environmental Journalism, under the slogan: ‘The energy bill’. The event will take place in the auditorium of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in Madrid on November 23 and 24.

In this sixth edition, everything concerning the treatment and presence of the energy sector in the media will be debated with the utmost rigor; the important role of renewable sources; savings and efficiency in the new energy map for 2012; the effects of climate change in Spain and the instruments for compliance with the Kyoto Protocol; and environmental education as a means to achieve responsible consumption.

The VI National Congress of Environmental Journalism is promoted and organized by APIA and has the sponsorship and collaboration of various entities such as IDAE, Caja Madrid, El Corte Inglés, Red Eléctrica Española, Toyota, Doñana 21 Foundation, Madrid City Council, Biodiversity Foundation, Natural Gas, BBVA Foundation, ENRESA, Seville Local Energy Agency, FENOSA Union.
