The hospitality establishments on the beach that want to participate in the IV edition of the Responsible Beach Bars Awards, have until June 22 to send their candidacy.
 
With one month to go before the registration period closes, there are many beach bars that have shown their interest in developing initiatives committed to the environment in the summer season of this 2015.
 
Among the activities that have already been developed by establishments in other editions, actions related to recycling, sustainable consumption of resources or the exchange of waste collection stand out, such as getting a free soft drink when you deliver a glass full of cigarette butts.
 
In previous years, nine beach bars have already been awarded, and five have won an award for their ideas. In addition, two more establishments have received a special mention from the jury, which recognizes their environmental and social commitment to the environment.
 
In this IV delivery of the “Responsible Beach Bar Awards” the sustainable activity of five of the participants will be recognized with an amount of 1,500 euros for each. In addition, the public, through social networks, will award one of the ten finalists with a recognition of 1,500 euros.
