The Biodiversity Foundation’s Emprendeverde Network has participated, for the second consecutive year, in South Summit Spain Start Up, an initiative that has brought together entrepreneurs, international investors and leading companies in innovation in Madrid. More than 300 people interested in the projects of the almost 20 entrepreneurs of the Network who have shown their ideas throughout the three days of this meeting have passed through the stand of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and the Environment.

Activities have been programmed at the stand, such as a market-place, where different green entrepreneurs have shown their products and services, a micro-showcase with different green products or meetings with investors from the Network, who have made themselves available to entrepreneurs to personally learn about their projects and answer their queries. The director of the Biodiversity Foundation, Sonia Castañeda, has described this new participation of the Biodiversity Foundation in South Summit as a “success”, which has allowed us to see “the great ideas with which green entrepreneurs are trying to consolidate new business models”.
